I am a qualified arts therapist (graduated at the Leidse Hogeschool, in the Netherlands, specializing in artistic therapy) and have extensive experience working in the field of artistic therapy and child counseling.
I have worked for over 10 years at the renowned Dutch institution Zonnehuizen Veldheim & Stenia, located in Zeist, the Netherlands.
Starting my career as a group counselor, I worked with groups of approximately 10 children, all with varying physical and mental disabilities. As an artistic therapist, I eventually started working purely on an individual basis helping children from 4 to 20 years old, with several different backgrounds and challenges. I aided children who experienced trauma, children with physical disabilities or autistic diagnoses, dyslexic children or simply children without any apparent physical or mental limitations but who faced difficulties regarding school, stress, anger, grief or interhuman relations.
I moved to Prague in 2010, with my husband and 4 children, where we lived until we moved to Austria for 4 years. Since august 2022 we are back in Prague again.
